Paul Woodward Advisory

Paul Woodward provides advisory services to the global events and B2B media industries. He was most recently the managing director of UFI, the global association of the exhibition industry. He held this position from July 2010 – November 2015 and was responsible for all UFI activities and events as well as for the operations of its three offices in Paris, Hong Kong and Sharjah.

Prior to taking up the UFI role, Paul was based in Hong Kong for 25 years. From 2000 to 2010 he ran Business Strategies Group Ltd., a business intelligence and strategy consulting firm he had founded to serve the business media and events industries. BSG has also run the UFI Asia/Pacific office since 2004 and, along with that, Paul was UFI’s Regional Manager in Asia.

Originally a business journalist, Paul worked from 1985 until 2000 for a publishing and exhibitions business which operated as Miller Freeman Asia in the 1990s. He was a director of that business responsible for new business development and strategy.
